Born on the 11th of November 1991 – grew up in a small town called Heidelberg in Gauteng, South Africa. Art has been part of my life from a young age! I have grown tremendously and I learned what art truly is! My complete perspective on art has changed. I found a new world – it was the beginning of seeing what art really is. It is not part of our world, but a world on its own. During my second year of studies I found a great interest in old books, using it as medium or theme for most of my projects since. I decided to further my studies in sculpture making; I spend my time in making artist’s books.
Recently I have started experimenting with painting and drawing as I was limited with space for sculpture making.
I mostly find my inspiration in using books, mechanical/natural science and earthy materials/things for my art work. I see myself as an experimental collector, by obsessively building with found objects or things that appear in nature.
