– René Alexis –

René Alexis has a Master’s Degree in Fine Art, which she obtained at Nelson Mandela University, South Africa. She lectured in the University’s Faculty of Art and Design for four years, and after a period of freelancing taught Art for two years at the Creative Arts and Music Academy in Nelson Mandela Bay. She has since decided to focus on making new work. René enjoys fine drawing and her work shows her love for detail. She also enjoys storytelling and surrealism, and her deep felt tales rooted in life lessons and experiences find their way expressed through various mediums.
